The new direction of Benetti megayachts – BENETTI NOW

The XXI century is the time of surge of interest towards megayachts. Motor yachts over 100 feet are becoming increasingly frequent orders from the leaders of the yachting industry. Construction of a yacht to order is a complex and lengthy process. On average, it takes from 12 to 45 months (in the latter case for yachts of 70-80 m in length and more) from the beginning of construction to launching (depending on the size of the vessel). Thanks to more than 100 years of experience Azimut | Benetti Group is able to satisfy the needs of the most demanding customers, while minimizing the waiting period. In 2016, the launch of a new collection of super yachts named Benetti Now was announced at the Monaco Boat Show: presenting pre-engineered vessels with internal customization. The client chooses the hull of the yacht, and then begins the joint work of the customer with the interior designer. This option of creating a custom made yacht should come to the liking of those who want to acquire something special with their own character in a short time.

The Benetti Now collection will feature four mega-yachts: B164 Ermes Est (50 m), B192 Zephiros (58.60 m), B214 Lothus (65 m), and B240 Olympus (73 m). The exterior of all yachts was entrusted to the Italian architect and master Stefano Natucci. As he says himself: "The laconic design is created taking into account the latest trends of fashion and technology. Smooth lines are combined with the correct distribution of space. I love the changes, but if I was asked to design these four yachts again, I would not change anything. " The haute-couture interior is created by the UK Redman Whiteley Dixon studio, which has established itself as a connoisseur of subtle sense of style and comfort.

At the end of 2016, the construction of the three-deck yacht B214 Lothus started in Livorno. At 65 meters, this will literally be an oasis on the water. The main deck includes a helipad, a swimming pool and spacious recreation areas. The sundeck is designed featuring two areas for sunbathing and a lounge in the midsection where one can hide from all the vagaries of the weather. Volumetric glazing on all decks will fill the space with natural light and allow to enjoy the boundless sea spaces.
