Azimut Fly 70: a yacht for mindful comfort

The high-speed Azimut Fly 70 combines a sporty character, thoughtful space architecture and refined elegance. Alongside the Seadeck 9, Magellano 27M, and Grande 44M, the Fly 70 ensures Azimut’s strong presence at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Alberto Mancini designed the exterior, creating smooth, clean and dynamic lines intended to remain timeless. The interiors are by Fabio Fantino, who embodies his signature refined eclecticism, blending modern design culture with meticulous attention to materials, light, and unexpected details.

A Terrace Above the Sea: The Cockpit Becomes a Lounge

The yacht’s cockpit has been transformed into a large shaded terrace above the sea. It features a dining table for eight people. The Terrace Cockpit version offers panoramic sea views during meals thanks to the transparent stern bulwark and the layout oriented toward the stern. A large deck locker can store numerous accessories and water toys for the whole family. In the Beach Cockpit version, all barriers between the cockpit and the water disappear thanks to a mechanism that opens the transom section and simultaneously lowers the sofa, turning it into a sunbed aligned with the water level. This solution has already been appreciated by Fly 62 owners.

The flybridge is divided into three functional zones. The forward area features a sun deck next to the helm station; the center holds a sofa area with a wet bar; and the aft terrace remains free of fixed structures and can be furnished with freestanding furniture. A hardtop shields the flybridge from the heat.

The Salon as an Art Space

The main salon’s interior naturally separates the social area and the dining zone while maintaining the visual cohesion of the entire deck. The living room is arranged around two sofas surrounded by panoramic views. The carefully selected combination of materials - suede, carpets, and marble - emphasizes the interior’s graphic sophistication. The galley is partially concealed behind a sculptural partition made of wood and metal. This design preserves the sense of open space while providing the necessary privacy. On the lower deck, there are four double cabins. The master cabin is located amidships and features a diagonal layout.

The yacht is built with extensive use of carbon fiber and equipped with two Volvo IPS 1350 engines, delivering a top speed of 31 knots. For the first time on the Fly 70, the Azimut Silent Technology system has been applied, reducing particulate emissions by 95 % and lowering noise levels by more than 5 dB. For Fly 70 owners, this means enjoying time at anchor with cleaner air and greater tranquility.
