Azimut Seadeck 9: between sea and sky
The new Seadeck 9 is designed to be a space where you truly connect with the sea - a sanctuary of well‑being and serenity. Alberto Mancini shaped the yacht’s exterior with a focus on openness and seamless flow, creating a sense of uninterrupted space. The aft Pool Deck takes the signature Fun Island concept to the next level.

The boundary between interior and exterior virtually disappears: a cascade of three terraces rises from the water’s edge to the main salon, forming one continuous space flooded with light, sunshine, and fresh air. Social areas flow naturally into one another, offering equal comfort whether you’re relaxing by the water or gathering around the table.

The pool’s transparent glass reveals an unobstructed view of the horizon, while the transformable swim platform (7 m²) extends the deck and provides easy access to the water. Bulwarks fold out, the platform lowers into the water, and freely movable sun loungers let you reconfigure the area to suit any mood from laid‑back relaxation to active recreation. The same design logic continues on the main deck. The outdoor aft lounge seamlessly blends into the salon: tall windows and a fully retractable glass door maintain a visual connection with the surroundings, while the high ceiling enhances the feeling of spaciousness.

Matteo Thun and Antonio Rodriguez brought the interiors to life by combining minimalism, natural materials, and tactile textures capturing the idea of a gentle, intimate connection with nature. Two colour palettes - warm walnut or light oak - strike a perfect balance between architectural restraint and inviting warmth. The lower deck features four cabins. The master stateroom is conceived as an eco‑resort‑inspired retreat, with integrated washbasins that become a natural part of the design.

Behind the yacht’s open architecture lies robust engineering. Seadeck 9 features a custom planing hull developed specifically for this series in collaboration with Names studio. Early planing capability enables efficient performance at lower speeds, expanding the range of speeds where optimal fuel efficiency is achieved. To reduce weight, approximately 40 % of the yacht’s structure is made from carbon composite.

Powered by three Volvo Penta IPS engines and hybrid technology, the yacht reduces fuel consumption and emissions by up to 30 % compared to comparable models with traditional hulls and shaft‑drive systems. The Hotel Mode system allows silent anchoring for up to 4 hours during the day and 8 hours at night. The battery bank can be fully charged in 5 hours via shore power or in 4 hours using the generator. Open architecture and engineering efficiency come together with a single purpose: to make the sea not just a backdrop, but a full and integral part of life on board. Seadeck 9 is for those who value space and time lived with intention.
