World Yacht Trophies 2022

As part of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2022, a traditional World Yachts Trophies gala dinner organized by Yachts France, Yachts Italia and Yachts Europe magazines took place. Azimut Yachts and its novelties annually attract a lot of attention of exhibition visitors and win various awards. This year, two new models by the Italian shipyard were awarded. Below you will find yachts highlighted by journalists, owners and other members of the jury.

In the 24-30 meters category, the long-range flagship of the Magellano 30M series won the award for the Best layout. "Muscular and brutal" yacht, whose individuality will be recognizable and relevant even in ten years, was penned by Ken Freivokh, who was already working on the 25-meter model of the series. On a larger size, the designer managed to unleash the full potential of exceptional solutions in layout and exterior design, which resonated with the voices of the jury members.

In the 30-50 meter category, the Azimut Grande 36M was awarded the Best interior design by Achille Salvagni, who works closely with the shipyard. Each element of the interior decoration is carefully thought out and creates an atmosphere of comfort.

However, the main feature of the model, in our opinion, is not the interior design, but the bow on the same level with the upper deck cockpit, which are connected by a side walk. Given the size of areas, owners can choose between a more traditional layout or an alternative layout with informal indoor and outdoor dining areas.
