Azimut Yachts Launched the New Grande 26 Metri
Azimut Yachts launched the new Grande 26M in Viareggio. She is expected to join the Azimut fleet at the 2022 Cannes Yachting Festival after passing sea trials. Let us remind you that time before the exhibition is running out, early registration will help you to plan your visit on the most efficient way.
The Italian shipyard continues to actively expand its presence in the market, adding new hulls in the existing lines. The shipyard remains committed to innovative product design and sustainable development. The Grande 26 Metri is no exception, boasting high-tech solutions, outstanding performance and reduced fuel consumption, but first things first.
The light and streamlined exterior with a large glass surface of 26 Metri was designed in close collaboration with Alberto Mancini, and interiors were penned by Achille Salvagni. Despite its compact size, the 26-meter hull received a spacious master suite on the main deck and four guest suites on the lower deck. A dedicated access to the crew quarters in the bow and from the galley, combined with partially raised helm station provide a high level of privacy.
However, the main feature of the novelty should still be the long-awaited opportunity for many owners to have two water toys on board at once: one in the garage and one in the swimming platform. The Deck2Deck design element with an opening transom catches the eye as well. It allows, if necessary, to increase the aft part of the main deck and use the resulting space for a dining or lounge area.
The new ZF POD was chosen as the propulsion system, which, in tandem with MAN engines, provides the vessel with the following features: increased maneuverability, more usable space, minimal noise and vibration levels, as well as maximum fuel efficiency (saving up to 15% compared to a propulsion with straight shaft).
