Dubai International Boat Show is the largest and most exciting boat show in the UAE, Gulf region and Middle East. Over 400 manufacturers of yachts, motor boats and many more are going to take part in this five-day event at the Dubai Harbour in order to demonstrate the best and the latest in the world of water transport.

It is a meeting place for the highest-ranking shipyards, famous designers, major brokers and certainly their customers, who are coming to Dubai for the opportunity to compare in practice and to choose the most suitable out of the models lined up side by side. Taking into account the large scale and the number of deals concluded at the exhibition last year, this year we expect to get even more attention from the exhibitors, owners, visitors and other industry representatives.

Azimut Yachts is going to display four models at this boat show: Azimut Fly 53 and Azimut Fly 68, Grande 27 Metri and Grande S10.

Rapid and elegant Azimut Fly 53 is equipped with IPS propulsion system, which, together with Volvo engine, provides the vessel with larger interior space, improved maneuverability, minimal noise and vibration level, as well as maximum fuel efficiency (up to 25% lower consumption compared to shaft line: at a cruising speed of 27 knots the cruising range is 265 nm).

The yacht turned out to have impressive interior volume: the living area and the kitchen on the main deck are almost at the same level; the sleeping area, where there are two guest cabins and a spacious master cabin, has been increased, too. The key task for the interior designer was to enhance the ease and freedom moving around the interior space, and the solution that was found is side windows that create a feeling of open space and provide a panoramic view due to the absence of vertical bars.

You can’t take your eyes off Azimut 53 thanks to its multi-faceted exterior by Alberto Mancini that is available in a variety of vibrant colours. Due to the combination of such expressive visual solutions as wide glazing from bow to stern or a horizontal black line at the junction of the flydeck and the superstructure, the designer managed to add dynamics and elegance to the yacht profile. Flybridge seems to float in the air and its streamlined shape has been borrowed from the classical car industry design.

Azimut 68 is equipped with a double power plant of Volvo Penta IPS 1350 with 1,000 hp, which has won the hearts of owners worldwide thanks to efficient fuel consumption, minimal level of noise and vibration, as well as unrivalled handling characteristics. The designer provided for three different variants of the main deck organization, depending on the goals, usage environment and owner’s personal preferences.

The incredible designer tandem of Alberto Mancini and Achille Salvagni gave the yacht efficient and impressive exterior, layout and interior design solutions. Large-scale glazed surfaces fill the space with natural light, spacious and multifunctional lounge areas, exquisite interior items and decoration.

In the year of its premier at the yacht festival in Cannes Grande 27 Metri won the prize of World Yachts Trophies in the «Most achieved: 80-125ft» category. The raised pilothouse construction made it possible to create a fifth cabin and locate the master cabin almost at the level of the main deck. This type of layout is more typical of larger yachts.

Thanks to the use of carbon in its construction, the vessel has perfect performance characteristics and larger interior volume compared to the boats of a similar class. Automatic interceptors provide for a fast access to planning mode and lower fuel consumption.

The interior of the yacht, created in accordance with the principle of spatial composition by Achille Salvagni, deserves special attention. The architect avoids plain décor and creates a series of contrasts to highlight different areas. Salvagni’s signature style is harmonious, flowing lines that some critics compare to the art of Italian Renaissance in its modern interpretation.

Azimut S10 is one of the flagship models of the Italian manufacturer. The yacht is a combination of an extravagant silhouette with accents of carbon and steel, top-notch technologies, distinctive style and superb sport characteristics.

Alberto Mancini mentioned above designed S10 as a villa on the water, with immediate contact with the sea, particularly in the stern part of the boat that is totally open to the air and the sun. All the main deck is meant for the living area, where folding doors, hidden partitions and opening windows create an ideal connection between outdoor and indoor space.
