Liguria

The eastern part - the Riviera di Levante - is even more interesting for a yacht charter: Portofino, Rapallo, Camogli, Santa Margherita Ligure ... all these places are not only extremely picturesque and known throughout the world for their "postcard" views, but also have a lot to offer with a gastronomic points of view.Even further to the east is the pearl of the Ligurian Riviera - Cinque Terre: five medieval villages of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore, located right on the sheer cliffs. The pristine coastline is ideal not only for walking, but also for anchorages, swimming and snorkeling. And a little further south - reminiscent of Portofino with its multi-colored facades, the beautiful town of Portovenere with an ancient fortress on a cape.  From the Gulf of La Spezia begins the region of Tuscany, which does not need to be presented in detail in terms of natural, gastronomic and wine treasures. It is home to many great wineries, and each city has its own time-honored culinary highlights. Be sure to visit Viareggio and Livorno; the well-known resort of Forte dei Marmi is also nearby. And if you have the time and desire to immerse yourself in history and culture, Florence, Pisa, Siena and Lucca are not too far from the coast.

Tuscan archipelago

Just 10 miles from the coast of Italy lies the Tuscan archipelago, which is also a national park. It includes 7 islands. The largest and closest to the continent is Elba, known as the place of temporary exile of Napoleon Bonaparte. There are two of his museum houses on the island at once, but besides this, you can find a lot of interesting things here - from ancient castles to beautiful beaches.Another impressive island of the Tuscan archipelago is the mysterious Montecristo, made famous by the novel by Alexandre Dumas. Small, only 3.5 x 4 km, it is a nature reserve, so no more than 1,000 tourists a year can visit it by submitting a preliminary application.Well, the final chord of the Tuscan coast is the island of Monte Argentario, located further south and connected to the mainland, with a beautiful lagoon, magnificent landscapes, excellent restaurants and a vibrant yachting life in the port of Santo Stefano, where classic yacht regattas take place.
