Ibiza is one of the Spanish-owned Balearic Islands, an archipelago in the Mediterranean Sea. The island is most famous for its summer parties in the cities of Ibiza and San Antonio Abad, which are organized by leading European nightclubs. Ibiza also has quiet villages, yoga centers and beaches, including the crowded Playa d'en Bossa, surrounded by hotels, bars and shops, and calm sandy coves along the coast, fringed by pine-covered hills.

Formentera is the smallest and southernmost of the Balearic Islands. It is located just 6 km from the party Ibiza, but at the same time very quiet and peaceful. There is only one relatively large city - San Frances de Formentera (aka San Francisco Javier), and the rest of the island is almost untouched by civilization - this is a flat, rocky plateau barely covered with plants. Formentera is different from the other Balearic Islands and often reminds tourists of Greece: it has a very clear sea, diverse underwater life (which is why divers and snorkelers love to come here), and seafood is considered one of the best in all of Spain.
