STRUCTURE AND SHAPE OF HULL
The structural design of the hull has been approved by rina to further guarantee the quality of the structures, which is ensured by the use of cutting edge materials and technologies.
Grp planing keel with deadrise of 14° astern and 19° midship. Longitudinal support chines. 2 Spray rails. Fiberglass structures using multiaxial fabric with a powder binder. Infused sandwich procedure. Neopentilic and isophtalic spray gelcoat. Pvc foam is used for the sandwich panels on the bulwarks, bottom, and superstructures.
The bow collision engine room bulkheads are made of structural wooden sandwich. Use of dcpd resin in the inner layers of the hull and superstructure.
Use of vinylester resins (resistance to osmosis print through marking) for the external coats of the hull.
On the strength of these characteristics, azimut is able to offer a 5-year warranty against osmosis.
